Finding community

I am so lucky that so many of our friends already have babies. It helps so much to talk to people who have been through the newborn phase and survived. I realize that everything I'm feeling is pretty normal and seeing how their older babies hold it together now keeps things in perspective. My baby is still so little, and he is processing so much. He'll get it one of these days. The challenges will change, but hopefully there will be less inconsolable crying. 

What a blessing all the parents in my life are. I sort of can't believe we are all doing this.
